At Car Inspect, a pre-purchase car inspection in Dubai costs AED 299 for the Pro package (400+ checkpoints) or AED 399 for Premium (600+ checkpoints, with a CARFAX history report included). These are current offer prices. Across the market, price depends on how much is checked, what equipment is used, where the car is and what the report includes.
Inspection prices vary a lot, and so does what you get for them. This guide explains our prices, what drives the cost of an inspection in general, and how to compare options fairly.

What affects the cost of a car inspection
How much is checked
A 20-minute look at a car and a 90-minute inspection with hundreds of checkpoints are both called “inspections”. Always ask how many points are checked and what they cover: engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, body, electronics, underbody, road test.
The equipment used
Some of the most useful checks need tools: a paint thickness gauge to find repainted panels, a diagnostic scanner to read fault codes, and an endoscope to look inside areas you can’t otherwise see. Inspections that skip these cost less to deliver but miss more.
The type of car
Luxury, performance and four-wheel-drive vehicles have more systems to check: air suspension, complex electronics, transfer cases and differentials. That’s why our Premium package is designed for them.
Location
An inspection at the car’s location saves you and the seller a trip but involves travel for the inspector.
What the report includes
A verbal summary, a checklist and a detailed photo report are very different deliverables. A report you can show the seller is often what helps you negotiate.
Is a cheaper inspection worth it?
Compare what’s checked rather than price alone. The problems that cost most (accident repairs, cleared fault codes, transmission issues, underbody damage) are exactly the ones a quick check is most likely to miss.
It also helps to think about the inspection relative to the car. A finding such as two repainted panels or worn brakes can be a reason to negotiate on price, or a reason to walk away from a car that would have cost you far more than the inspection.
How to book
Choose a package on the booking page, add the car’s details and location, and pick a preferred time. We confirm the appointment with you before the inspection.
